The trailer for Girl Most Likely, Kristen Wiig’s follow-up to Bridesmaids, has arrived online.
The picture – directed by American Splendor’s Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini – debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2012 under the name Imogene.
Ahead of its summer release in the States, it’s been given a more user-friendly title and a sprightly trailer (despite reports suggesting this is a fairly dark comedy).
Wiig plays a would-be playwright who winds up in the care of her dysfunctional mother (Annette Bening) after a suicide attempt gone wrong.
Matt Dillon and Darren Criss also star.
It does not yet have a local release date.
